imo, the gun with the higher caliber bullet should deal more damage
the m1 garand with .30-06 springfield should not deal more damage than the s&w model 29 with .44 magnum
O_o i get blinded, then set on fire, i run into sticky goo just as my blindness goes away, and two fuzzles prepare to lunge at me, but get knocked off-course by one green gloople, leaving me to luckily dodge the lunge of an off-screen biter and the spawning of a grinder while still stickied
that is some pretty extreme luck
excellent for a first
i can't write good paragraphs, so here is a more basic overview:
audio: lacking music, remember to put in an obvious mute button if you decide to add some
graphics: very good, but you do say you're more of an artist than a coder
bugs: there may be a few, but they are easily squashed, nothing so drastic as leaving the world behind and finding yourself knee-deep in crabs
controls: mouse and arrow keys, if you're a righty using a trackpad, this is highly impractical, i'd add an option to use wasd keys
gameplay: story is kinda interesting, hard to follow sometimes, but still pretty good, the dialogue in some places doesn't fit very well, for example, if you pick up the rod, desalinator, and rudder before going into the structure on the sw side of the first island, you get completely unconnected pieces of script that don't flow
overall: good game, take your time on a sequel so that it's really good
snowtiger, stfu dammit
some of us can't get a new computer, so the game will never load
if you want people to stop complaining about not loading, send them the money to buy a new computer
