Hi there :)
Below is a random collection of things I love. If you love any of them too, I’d love to talk about it with you in chat :D
My favorite word is periphescence. It isn’t considered a word, but I thought it evoked too much beautiful abstract imagery in the mind to be treated with such disgrace. Thus I consider it my favorite word. Ever.
I’m a huge fan of indie YouTube musicians, so here’s a list of my favorites (not in any particular order).
Boyce Avenue, Pentatonix, Walk Off The Earth, Tiffany Alvord, Tyler Ward, Kina Grannis, Sam Tsui, Kurt Hugo Schneider (and everyone he’s collaborated with), Alex Goot, Alex G, Peter Hollens, Lindsey Stirling, Adrisaurus, Against The Current, Connie Talbot, Gabrielle Aplin, Smooth McGrove, Jake Coco, Chester See…
…and so on. There’s a lot. As for mainstream artists…
Ed Sheeran, John Mayer, Coldplay, The Script, Taylor Swift, American Authors, Christina Perri, Jason Mraz, Vance Joy, and Daniel Powter.
My favorite songs are:
Movies and Series
My most favorite movie is Interstellar. I absolutely loved it. Next ones are Inception, Les Misérables, The Abyss, then probably a few others in the same genre I can’t remember right now.
I’m currently following/catching up with these series: Game of Thrones, Doctor Who, Fear/The Walking Dead, Hannibal, Sherlock, Broadchurch, Merlin, Glee, Wayward Pines, and Ghost Adventures.
All the books I’ve read in my entire life as far as I can remember plus a dozen Hardy Boys books.
Minecraft, Terraria, Braid, LIMBO, RuneScape, RotMG
“We are going to die, and that makes us the lucky ones. Most people are never going to die, because they are never going to be born. The potential people who could have been here in my place but who will in fact never see the light of day outnumber the sand grains of Sahara. Certainly those unborn ghosts include greater poets than Keats, scientists greater than Newton. We know this because the set of possible people allowed by our DNA so massively exceeds the set of actual people. In the teeth of these stupefying odds it is you and I, in our ordinariness, that are here. We, privileged few, who won the lottery of birth against all odds, how dare we whine at our inevitable return to that prior state from which the vast majority have never stirred.”
