The miliseconds means that people recording their score aren't all getting the same points, which makes it easier to pick the top 5 winners as the scores are unlikely to be the same. Also, Sonny's movement is restricted as not only is he underwater, but he is also in a wheelchair.

there is a prize offered to the top scorers who submit their scores! Also, if players come back and complete all games (when they're launched) and submit their scores, they are in with a chance of winning the 'top' prize.
