even the story content feels like a grind, and the stupid gems are always in my face, and things take a huge ammount of time for no reason. sort of fun for a bit, but its flaws lead me to rate 1/5 on principle, as this games rating is already to high.

... a fireball landed on my builder, killing him. is this intended behavior?

Yep, thats expected. Builders are immune to fire and can extinguish it if they step on it, but they have no control over fireballs. This is actually something i'm changing for the next patch... in the next patch builders will protect the area around them from fireballs. - 5/9 - Buiders are now immune to fireballs.

i actually like fireballs. the easiests way to deal with them is to drop some portals. only problem is computers dont know how to deal with them, so i easily win any level with them.

high elf priestess is fantastic, as is dark elf. himan mage on the other hand is suprisingly weak. his apparent versatility is countere out by the ridiculous number of skill points it requires and the fact that he finds it impossible to get experience. the priestess gets tons of experience and all of her skills are excellent, if pricey, and has access to elvish magic, which is the best magic in the game.

lots of potential, but right now just awful. i cant even unlock anything, because the 3 starting classes suck, and its unclear what im sopposed to do. which is to say, it doesnt say what gives more or less experience, and i feel like nothing i do matters.

if this game gets enerrgy i will quit immediately. just saying. im warning you, if you add energy you will lose over half your player base. but until that (probably inevetibly) happens, your game is good.

seriosly, in this game looking behind you is always a bad idea but im still constantly tempted too. that says something about the game. also the ghosts seem to be wandeering around aimlessly until you realize you're sorounded and fell right into their trap.

i dont think i will ever get 2 minutes flawless. my best is 101 seconds. its the only achievment left besides beating the game, but its just too hard.

i found it strangely easy on impossible mode. if you just put 3 general to an army, and never bother to research new unit types, you quickly become unstoppable.
