i think that those Melee attackers need some more bonus
If i put points on Endurance, their damage is too low comparing with Rangers and Mages
if i put too many points on Strength or Dex, they will easily dead because they have to stand in the front...
Also, they cannot hit those dangerous enemy hiding at the back freely, like those Rangers do..
So i think that they need some strengthening in both Damage and HP..
For example,
you can make 50% of attack on Rogue miss automatically after learning a certain skill
and give a skill to warrior that they earn 30% extra damage resist automatically since the begining of a battle (but cannot use with a shield, to avoid shield wall overpowered)
Apr. 27, 2008MrDomino, +12 to Str and +12 to Int is a REALLY NICE trade off for the big hit to the AC. It could be balanced with a shield or a off-hand Cleric only item that has an AC bonus (good luck with one of those).

This game is AWESOME. Thanks for making it man!!! My only suggestions for the second one is that if you are 'forced' to make some easier aspects to the game make sure you can disable them (such as item auto-upgrader or upgrade arrows as was asked, etc). I would hate for it to lose the feeling that it already has, but more classes (perhaps pick up those D&D books, or feel free to email me and I'll get you a link to an online version!), more skills, etc... Balancing will be 'fun' (UGH), but then I doubt you would have a short list of people that would LOVE to help you playtest!

I have no idea what's going on with you guys and the disappearing items, but I can assure you it's nothing I did. The game hasn't been updated for well over a month.

This was pretty difficult, and it's true there is a large element of luck. The all-around shield is not optional, make sure to save enough bonus points to get it before level 40.
