Me:

I’m Gloves. I’m on my computer all the time, just about always in Dystopia unless I hear about something going on in other rooms. Hit me up sometime and we’ll talk…could be fun, I guess. If you ever write anything and want me to look it over, I fancy myself a decent editor…one of the few things I consider myself good at, actually. In college now and loving it!

People I Like: I figure I could give some shoutouts here to the people who make my stay in Dystopia spectacular. You guys are the reason I love our room so much and the reason why I spend my days on Kong.

Jaggle (georgiagirl):

While Jaggle and I admittedly got off on the wrong foot and disagree about many things, I think we’ve both gradually warmed up to each other since then. She’s fun, easy to talk to, and really a great girl, and has quickly moved from one of the people who frustrate me to one of the reasons I enjoy being on kong so much. I’m glad that we’ve left our rocky start behind us, and hope that we continue to get closer in the future :)

Nect (Nectarine):

Nect is one of those rare people who is just about always friendly and helpful, if you can catch him online and talking (not often enough imo). He’s also willing to have deep conversations and fully explore topics, which can be quite entertaining (as well as enlightening). While at times he’s a bit introverted and generally keeps his online self separate from his life, he’s one of my favorite Dystopians without question and I feel quite lucky to be able to consider him a friend.

R (ItsBarbie)

R is someone I’ve recently had the pleasure to get to know, and she’s quickly become one of my favorite people to talk to. She’s truly a great girl, always being helpful and friendly in chat, and as I’ve learned more about her I’ve only find more to like. While I don’t know her as well (yet) as I wish I did, I think (and hope) that with time this will change and we’ll only continue to get closer. Update: And that’s exactly how shit went down!

Isa (IsaBeIIa):

Isa and I have had our ups-and-downs, more so than anyone else on this list. While she’s just now regaining a spot after a bit of a rocky patch in our past (before her recent and hopefully ended absence!), Isa has always been there for me when I’ve needed her, and I’m extremely grateful to count myself close to someone like her. She’s currently quite suspicious of me, though I can’t quite figure out why.

Ninja (Tact):

I play chess a lot with Ninja (he crushes me but spends lots of time with me improving my game – thanks :) ). I’m pretty in tune with him…most people’s minds operate on a very different level but we’re pretty similar. I don’t think I’ve met another person like that…we have differences of opinion but our thought processes are very much aligned, which leads to having some interesting and helpful conversations.

Lunak:

Probably the nicest girl around. Period. She really needs to chat more. Over the past few months I’ve become much closer to Luna, and I’m glad I have — she’s a great girl. She’s another reg who’s had some tough luck lately. I think she’s in a good spot now, though, and I wish her the best and hope to stay close.

Shado:

One of the few people left that I’ve been friends with since the old days. We don’t really talk that much, but I do know that I can count on him in a tough spot. I like to think he knows the same about me. He always has the pulse of the room. Is crazy about georgiagirl (d’awwwww) and guns. Also one of the few with decent musical taste! Claims he wants me to teach him a bit about music, if he ever makes the time for it! :P

Rats (Ista):

We always get along pretty well :). We ate lunch together once, which was also fun. Still waiting for her to cam up and show her parents Nyan Cat. Sometimes, I doubt that day will ever come, but for now I still have hope. Not around all that much these days but still drops in occasionally. I (as well as most of Dystop) enjoy her company, so this is widely regarded as a good thing.

MasterWriter42:

He’s a very interesting guy – fun to talk to and willing to have good discussions about deep topics. Claims to have a few screws loose…may be true, but I wish him the best :) Back every now and then recently, and I’m hoping this trend continues.
