Yes the pope is a human being and of course all human beings make mistakes but when the pope speaks on matters of faith and morals he cannot be wrong. Those keys are handed down from Peter to all the popes and im sorry if you don't believe the pope is infallible ive already stated why he is. Yea i kinda know alot about theology. Catholics want their young to know about God that's why they set up the Catholic school system. I believe what I belive because it's true and right. Luther was an idiot just look what he wrote. "I could commit a thousand mortal sins a day and still go staight to heaven just because I believe in Jesus." Does this make any sense whatsoever. NO. Yea im young and i'll NEVER sway from the Catholic Church and i'll always defend it's teachings.

Actually the bible does speak of the pope. The first one actually. Jesus Himself tells St. Peter "Peter you are rock and upon this rock I build my church and the gates of Hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys of everlasting life. Whatever you bind on this earth shall be bound in Heaven and whatever you lose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven." It is pretty clear to me that Jesus wanted Peter to guide His Church. Or did you tear this part out of your bible? And I have read the bible, maybe you should read the Catechism of the Catholic Church.

Well you're wrong pretty much everywhere. Are YOU kidding me? Martin Luther broke away from the Catholic Church because of the sale of indulgences, which had gotten a little out of hand but he also argued that the pope wasn't infallible and that's where he was wrong. That's where all protestants are wrong. All 40,000 denominations of them, why would their be so many protestant religions if they were a whole. Some of the popes in the middle ages were living in luxury and some could have been living better lives but they are still God's chosen ambassadors to the Catholic Church which means that they deserve respect.......

obviously not eveyone likes the pope thats why you have protestant religions, i know you don't share the same opinion as me thats why i'm arguing with you and maybe if you actually read what i wrote you'd know why the game is disrespectful but no just keep being ignorant we'll see how far that takes you in life, i don't need new perspectives you need a wider view of things (and this is what calathus meant by a bad society) i don't care if you don't share the same views as me i just try and defend my faith -God Bless

ah, first of all past presidents weren't vicars for Christ and only one was catholic(JFK) and he was a bad catholic next, i'm no bible thumper its just common sense, its not me racing against the pope that is wrong it's calling them names that are insulting and not their own names: like chalenged and corupt another thing is the boosts in this game, the BLessed Sacrament is the Body and Blood of Christ the most sacred sacrament a catholic can receive, if you don't thing this is disrespectful then sorry i can't help you but next time if your gonna argue with me come with more ammo-(do more research)

the thing that is wrong with insulting popes or anyone is that they are some of the holiest people alive, i mean you wouldn't insult one of your family members or someone u like, they deserve respect whether u think so or not
