I think I broke it .. lvl 13 I cut the guitar and it didnt get the job done so I cut it again and the rocket stopped and the face too and I cant even reset the game.
when I battle another ship and take their cargo, I seem to lose the cargo I bought ... I had room to take on more cargo and what I bought was worth more than what I gained. Makes attacking a bit of a bummer.
Formula for winning ship design: Stagger your weapons on different rows to avoid overkill/reloading problems as the excess shots just disappear when the target dies. Also, more weapons is not always best; you need to balance out shield with weapons. So if your not advancing and already armed to the teeth, you many need to remove a few weapons and add shields. At the end, remember that you can also remove a few modules that were previously necessary. I was only using 2 triple resource gathers and 2 triple tanks to beat the final boss.
I find that the keyboard controls are better for this game than the mouse as the space bar works better for shields than the mouse button. Also I find that the ship, once upgraded, doesnt have a strong forward fire pattern and when combined with no ship collisions, the top of the screen becomes a very nice place to be. Both of these are uncommon in a bullet hell game .... interesting no?
Personally, I finished the engineer and the juggernaut compaign quikly but I found the psionic a LOT harder. Psionic is underpowered with very few attacks and few interupters and the defensive tactics are weak.
once you have the infinitate warp, you can also begin the warp process and then move the cursor outside of the flash window for extra long distance warps!!
While the blocks cant be pushed, they can be moved. Just barely fall off the edge of the block opposite of the direction you want it pushed and it will move ... a fraction of a inch at a time.
It doesnt seem right that if they even touch a kid, then I lose a star. I'd understand if they carry the kid off but he can be saved and run back to the group, no harm done right?
game sucks... jerky camera action makes the playing difficult and the commentary behind the game was made by the inter-child of somebody who never received the right encouragement from his/her father. Better off to go see your shrink. 0/5
Easy to win even on son of zeus. Armies to have from beginning to end: 15 scout cavalry, 25 pikeman and 35 peltast. Let the enemy send troops first and just counter them, pikeman for cavalry, 1 or 2 peltast for infantry and cavalry for archers (sent in at the last second). Once your command builds up to like 150+, flood in the cavalry on different stratas. Easy win against any territory. Now the techs will help as you go. Dont spend money on new unit types except the pikeman and dont spend money on surgery or barracks. Focus on the 2 income techs, then command, and then attack and def for your 3 unit types. Done. Nevertheless, I really enjoyed the strategy on the game 5/5.
I really wanted to like this game, I really did. I think it had to do with the memories of loving FFT but this game lacks the best elements of FFT... the storyline, quality of gameplay, class upgrades, actual tactics in combat, and the hidden chests on the playing field, etc. The game has loads of potential but, in the end, failed to really tap that potential. FFT has been out for years and had tons of success so it would have been easy to mimic their elements of gameplay more. Just give it a new twist and you have a truly wonderful game.
In the beginning there was mario... we hated mario's precision platform jumping but somehow we fell in love with him because he was the first of a new generation. Then there were more marios and mario spin-off and we grew to HATE the precision jumping games but developers just made more and more of them and the hate grew ...
