The thing that brought me here were the tags ... MMO, IDLE and adventure. I didn't think those 3 tags could be brought together. But now that I'm here I'm reading the comments as I wait for the game to load. I don't like IDLE or most MMO's but just reading the comments here, I also dont think I'll finish downloading the game just out of curiosity to see how the game works.
Honestly @Vargen, this is beta. There is a warning at the top of the flash window that says 'your progress may be lost' at any time. You really have no garentee that what you do here is in anyway perminate or for your fun. To the contrary, you are working on a beta game to help the developer. However, after having said that, its disappointing that the developer does not communicate the server downtime better.
Town hall upgrade says "requires town hall level xx to upgrade". Thats not right or just confusing. Should be player level or something. Also when doing 'wanted' challenges, you can change the team up but it doesnt update the screen showing your team vs their team. Just a couple of bugs for you.
I remember playing this game for many a few hours when it was released. This is the best flight sim on kong and one of, or the very best, game on kong IMO. I do have to comment momoguru though that 1 year later, still doing updates on the game, listening to your players and responding to the comments ... thats amazing! Ok boys and girls, you know you payed out the a** on your pay-to-play games. Now its time to buy Astrox just to support a great developer on a real game! You dont have to play the local version but do it to support him, $10 is a cheap game. And keep up the good work momo!
I havnt even played the game yet but when all the top comments are negative about the developer and the game, I feel so disappointed that this is the game kong decides is newest and most badge worthy game right now.
Production numbers are also wrong. I'm currently showing a +57M to production (details say +20M passive and +13M from the mountain) but only receiving a +20 per turn. Is only the passive production actually working?
Key to the raids (or at the very least to the enslavers): if army str = low, fight them. If the leader int = low, cheat them. If neither is low = flee from them. With this strat, I can still grow easily with a 50% threat level.
So I'm in 1785 BC yet with 1.4m pop and enslavers are almost constant. Problem being that the option results dont agree with the actual numbers. For example, I flee and it says 40k dies but real population dropped 200k. Next I fight and it says 20k enslaved and 200k died in the attack but real numbers only dropped by about 30k. Theres a bug in the reporting system somewhere
Pressing New game on the intro brings up saved games (mine are full) and then choosing a saved game actually does a load game. Kinda makes New Game and Load Game the same thing on the intro screen doesn't it?
Still one of the best games on Kong and getting better! Kudos!
survival and boss killer: use your mega beam just as your about to die and when the immortal pendant activates, you'll return with a never ending mega beam. You can even still use other sklls afterwards :D
After playing the game for a while, I find the repair option isnt as bad as some commented. You can always buy a new plane and keep flying or change continents, if your far enough, and keep playing. But grinding to level up for a new plane is slow and too repetitive. I didnt finish europe
