Hey dude – thanks so much! I try really hard with my animation, and I think its the thing I’ve developed best over the last year. I animate at 32 FPS but the trick is to use a mix between frame by frame and tweening. This creates the sort of bouncy effect that I’m really fond of. If you are interested in animation I really really really recommend this book: The Animators Survival Kit by Richard Williams. Its got some great tips on the walk and run cycle (the most important for platform games!) – thanks again dude, you’ve brightened up my day!

Thanks for the reply! And by the way, Ultimate Arena Extreme would be amazing if you added items like in Chaos Faction 2. I know you could come up with epic items. xD Maybe you should make a sequel to UAE. But first finish Zombinsanity; I’ve been waiting for months! :D

Thanks man – yeah I made UAE in 40 or 50 hours as a game jam challenge, thats why it has very few features. I think I’ll def make a sequal (or use the engine) after Zombinsanity and add team games, weapons, power ups etc :)

Well there is a game I’ve been working on for a long time now (about a year) and its going to be a platform shooter with zombies and the characters from Combat Hero Adventures. I posted a demo on my site a while back – check it out and let me know what you think :)
