Technically, this game is still 2-D. 1-D would be invisible to us since it only has length. The line we see in this game still has a width, or else we wouldn't be able to figure out the puzzles. It's impossible to create a playable 1-D game.
And I would skip the grinding portion of this game. I like Zombies way more than the versus multiplayer part of CoD partially because I don't have to be a certain level to have access to the best equipment. I don't like repeating the same beginning of a level over and over again just so I can get the perks to make it farther.
I don't see a point in playing for badges, because in the end it doesn't matter anyway. Sure, maybe the hard badge takes forever to get, but griping about a pointless achievement seems even more ridiculous. I play for the fun of the game, regardless of some "badge" to "prove" my l33t skillz. I kind of wish games didn't have these badges because I think people are losing sight of why we play games in the first place. It's entertainment!
It would be better if we just got 3 lives at the beginning of each round, that way I don't have to hit retry at the menu screen to get the 3 starting lives if I had lost at least one in the round before.
I turned in my "Final Shard!" quest to the High Lord and then proceeded to save the game. As soon as the save was complete, the High Lord gave me the "Reforging the Heartstone" quest. I went to go talk to the researcher, but I could not talk to him. So apparently don't save right after that quest, abandon the last quest, or leave the game after accepting the last quest... you won't be able to finish the game.
The hard campaign is truly the easiest. Just used poison on every mission except the last one. For the final boss I just spammed several tornadoes on him.
It needs a "show wrong" button for the puzzles. It gets extremely annoying when you do the entire puzzle to find that one slot cannot be filled. It forces you to start all over after spending all that time.
The game is more enjoyable now and these updates should have been implemented before the game was released. I moved the rating up one :) I see the ratings have gone up since the last time I checked.
