Classis game and well done. Only wish there was a pause button since I keep wrecking my time score chatting. Or maybe there is one and I just haven't noticed it yet :)
A pause button was a toss up for me... really gave it a lot of thought, but I ended up deciding not to include one since players could abuse it to study the board and plan their next move... unless I hide the game while it's paused... *starts thinking* EDIT: There actually IS a pause that I forgot about. Just press the scores button. That will pause your game :) EDIT 2: Pause implemented :)
yes and no. The level will keep replaying until the black ant gets home, then it will move to the next level. Each level is like the same as the last but has more to do and more to think about.
Very happy that somewhere in this is some of my artwork. Bummed that I am so bad at these kinda games that I'll never get to see which pics of mine they used XD. A HINT button woulda been a great additional feature. I'm still psyched this is finally released though! :D
This could be a fantastic game, but all of us playing it in the room encountered several different glitches. When I got to the 3rd store, I bought the hifi and open sign. The money got taken out, but neither items appeared even after I re-bought them a 2nd time. Additionally, I found that in the 3rd store customers would not buy any CDs no matter how low I set the price. So I finally quit. Hope you do some more debugging and a second release of this game!
If I haven't already said so, this is the best puzzle game I've ever played. The more I play it, the more I like it. If I could give you 6 stars, I would (and I've never said that before)! Thank you for the new toggle off the printers feature. I can't wait to replay the maps with that feature :D
very cool and original but the gameplay was way to frantic for my taste. I prefer a longer pause between waves to be able to create mixtures, decide strategy, etc. I wound up just spamming spells.
This is a really neat game. I would love to see a second version of it. It reminds me a bit of Pirate Defense with the traps. A few things that would make the game better for me - Please use an easier text to read. The script is very difficult to make out. After playing 40 rounds, I'm still not certain if I can do repairs in game or if I have to wait between rounds. Just some in-game clarification msgs and a little work on the menus (like deselecting a gun I'm not going to put anywhere) would help. I'm not going to memorize all those shortcut keys. Overall, very nice game.
Not a complaint, just an obsevation. "All great women began their lives..." too :D Thanks for making a new Protector. I do really enjoy this series. :)
I disagree with some of the comments on here. I loved Mushroom Revolution, so more of it sounds like a great idea to me. The upgrade system on here is different, but it's the same concept. Like Mushroom Rev, you have to play this long enough to figure out the combinations and how to effectively place/use them. The costume combo list is NOT as useful as the gem combo list in Mushroom Rev is my only complaint. Going to be a pest to remember everything.
Nice try, but it is rather confusing. Just adding tooltips so the building type showed when you hover your mouse over it would help a great deal. More info on the cost/income of building types is needed.
