ok, recipe-

1 mug cold tea (no milk)

8oz (225g) mixed dried fruit (if you don’t like peel just use sultanas and currants)

8oz (225g)self-raising flour

4oz (125g) caster sugar

1 large egg (beaten)

Soak fruit in tea and sugar for several hours, or overnight.

Add egg and flour (best added in smallish portions for easy mixing)

Do not use spikes yet!!!
