1) right click the game, go to "settings," and make sure kongregate is allowed to store an unlimited (or at least really high) amount of data on your computer. This is a setting you have to change manually, because otherwise, old data is deleted as new data accumulates which results in lost saves. Developers like me have no control over this. 2) Make sure your browser isn't deleting flash cookies (shared objects). Chrome in particular is really bad about doing this. Personally, I suggest backing up your sharedobjects folder from time to time.
It must save automatically! If it doesn't work for you, please let me know what browser do you use.
