discostupid	Mar. 02, 2009 yeah you know, i do criticize games quite a bit. this is the great thing about this community-based development environment, that devs get instant feedback. if everyone posted only positive comments, then no progress would be made. i’ve been a little harsh recently, but not undeservedly i think. if a game doesnt work, and i have to MAKE it work, this is a failure. why? because i immediately will not play it. if i paid for the game, i would probably try to fix it, because i invested in it. but since it’s free, and there’s 12000 other games here that are also free, not to mention the games i have and paid for on my computer, then im definitely not going to waste my time trying to fix a game so i can play it. hence 1/5. if it’s resolved, i update my rating (which i usually try to do when i rate something low, go back to it at a later date and see if it’s been improved)
