It's sad to see people coming by and saying the game is bad, not worth playing for the BOTD etc. This was made 8 years ago at least, and it still is a solid flash game till date. Simple controls, minimalistic style, enemies are unique, you learn stuff, how the gloops interact and they evolve if you let them be. You learn how to use your enemies against them. Game is hard, you get good, it's simple. I thought with harder games coming back to the mainstream, like dark soul, these whiny peeps that can't play a game that don't hold their hand will decrease.
I found a secret boss of sort? After defeating the final boss, mr big stache, use a fast forward, it'll bring you back to the starting room and there will be a boss "????" which drop a no name item with random stat.
Lots of people can't handle games that don't hold your hands all the way. Especially the younger people. Look at the recent comment section, some people cries at the game being too hard, calling this thing utter shit, does not understand the concept of recoil (CoD players maybe). It may not cater to your taste, but it should not warrant you being a shit of a person about it. I'm talking to you miki. F*k you.
Got the badge. The easiest way to get the medium badge is simply choosing when to die. When you die, you get to repeat a section. It means you can damage it more and won't let the game go to the annoying laser pearl part. Best place to die is the part where the crab drains the water. Just sit in the middle of the crab and shoot away, time your death near the end, and it will repeat the whole draining thing again.
game crashed on me at endless mode, somewhere around 1060 miles, after dropping bombs. It went endless fireworks while my cars and the enemy cars just sit there doing nothing. Game is decent, a bit on the easy side. Nothing too good about it either. An average 3/5 for me.
@JiffyJuff It is indeed the most popular browser. But popularity doesn't necessarily mean a good thing. There is a valid reason asking why a game does not work on a particular browser. IE is improving, but its best function till this day is to download other browsers. Which is a good thing.
When typing dialogues in editor, commas don't work. Typing 'M' even in this mode trigger the mute and unmute, which is annoying. The inability to save is annoying still. You can't expect people to produce good detailed map in one sitting. Publishing an incomplete map as a save will result in spamming the latest page with incomlete maps which might be abandoned anyways, and when it is finally complete, it would be buried under others.
A tip I found on accident. right clicking will "pause" the game while the tiles is still showing. A good way to rest your eyes and solve the puzzle at the same time. Might just be on my machine though. Do try it out and see if it works with yours.
1) Hit box need to be fix, sometimes you can get stuck on a straight path. On one level, I was able to climb a wall because of the hit box of the tile.
2) The controls were not as bad as others may have mentioned, but still the skill required to make that pixel perfect jumps were annoying.
3) I find the inconsistent frame rate very frustrating especially when you had to make that jumps with 2 pixel margin of error.
4) The problems when making a platformer is it gets boring fast without purpose especially when dying a lot, having to redo that hard manoeuvre all over again. Perhaps adding counters on the amount of blocks lit up with high score? Or having the amount of blocks lit/unlit affect the game somehow? (maybe it does, I have yet to complete the game due to frustrations)
