the desire to do something
to end the numbness
to end it all
without ending himself
though just a shell

without no one else to support him
yet ignoring the empathy
the sympathy
the pity
living his own life
his own way
on his own
like he’s always been
never being able to rely on anyone
but always being reliable
that’s how I’ve been
and how i probably will be
forever.

they weren’t there
but i will always be there
for any who need it
