Was about to add a solid 5/5, then I realized I'm locked out of Lacste and because of that I can't get the Hard badge since I'm pretty sure the last 2 Amulet pieces are in there. I'm really not willing to start over a pretty long game just to get those 2 last pieces, so... yeah...
I managed to defeat the dragon by sheer luck withot using the Divine Edge, but that was because I managed to score 3 Gold Vouchers during that run and allowed me to get to the dragon with a fully upgraded armor/sword. I literally was a hit away from dying, but I scored a double hit. Literally more reliant on luck than it should be, but overall a nice game. 3/5 for the sheer luck factor, but awaiting for a sequel.
Doodle God is one of those games you pretty much need a walkthrough by your side, but I still love the series (even though some combinations were forced this time, like the billion Vodka combinations). Hope to see badges for this one.
The Hard badge is really easy once you understand the game. 1) Always try to recruit girls, since most of them are Ranged (and you can kill the Apprentice by trapping him in a lake even with a lv1 that way, should you get it)2) Avoid Errand missions at all costs. You want LP, not gold. Don't do lv5 missions, always go Wolf lv4 > Orc lv4 > Succubus lv4. You should be able to complete Wolf lv4 without too much effort should your team be at least at lv15. 3) Should you get any boys, recruit then graduate them right away for the small Fame buffer. 4) Always maintain a solid team (I went with 1 MagiLancer, 1 Sorceress and 2 Mirage Casters), and once any of those hit lv30, switch them to any other girl recruits. If you have enough spare gold (you need around 600 gold to keep a steady flow of recruits every month), upgrade the max lvl's weapons (so you get extra fame once you graduate it). Once you evolve the girl (at lv10), graduate the max level. Hope this helps!
Saint, whenever you fail to accomplish the amount of fame necessary at the end of every month, you lose part of your money as a penalty. The Hard badge asks you to be able to manage to direct the magic school thru an entire year without getting any penalties.
For everyone mad about the whole Facebook debacle, it's only a joke. You click the button and simply get the badge. Your facebook account won't record this, etc. I just got the badge by clicking on the "Like" button on my work browser where I had never accessed facebook.
Best way to get a 5-star game: Find a lover early (before 20) that matches at least 2 traits. Hope he doesn't have any negative traits. Just avoid everything bad, then. You need a total happiness of 1000+ at the end to get a 5-star game. Hope this helps. :)
For an ArmorGames game, this is sadly very disappointing.
Lousy controls, as I've pointed before, sometimes the game will simply flat out refuse to jump no matter if you're using a mouse or a keyboard. For those racing games, missing a single jump is lethal. Usually, reducing quality helps in that issue, but look, you can't reduce the quality in that game.
Those lousy controls simply discourage the player from attempting Perfect Jumps and combing them.
I'm sorry, but Canabalt or Robot Unicorn Attack are MUCH better than this.
