hey, no idea how i missed that the requirements ARE listen, sorry about that. So then, i really can't find much fault with this, it's the best at what it is.

The imagery is simple but evocative, the morals sweet and the gameplay enjoyable. My critique is on the written sections;i feel you could be more subtle. People always say to show, not tell when telling a story, and i think that applies to videogames. Although some of the story parts are necessary, many could be gleaned from the gameplay, or don't need to be repeated when gameplay makes the facts clear. I feel a gamer is more likely to have an emotional response to a work if they are more free to assign meaning themselves. That aside, it's a really nice idea executed pretty well. So Kudos!

So, i really did enjoy this game, but it was too easy. I think it'd only take slight tweaks though, to be much better in that regard. Have the bosses shoot and move faster the less health they have to add a sense of urgency and a need to dodge-for the most part, you just circle strafe the bosses to death. Make regular units just slightly faster and hardier, and add a rare chance of them shooting in front of you, in the direction you're heading. Once again, to encourage actual dodging. That said, it's fun and simple (i don't think you should add too many upgrades, it'd clutter it up), and the art is nice. I just only once was afraid i might lose, and i never did. Make me work for my victory.

Actually, i think the graphics are kinda endearing. And the game is really fun. Perhaps could use a bit of refining, but it's nice. 4 stars.

Fun game, though i say it's more on the platform side of 'puzzle platformer' and should market itself as such. I think it's really quite well made though, took a known mechanic and made the best of it. Pretty too. The level editor is a nice touch. I personally never had any jumping issues.

So the ninja is smart enough to only paint the right spots with the right paint, but stupid enough to always grab paint cans and drop the can he's holding, even if he doesn't need the other color anymore? This isn't criticism, love the game. Just found it funny.

This game is awesome! Kinda sad it's only a promo for a promo. It easily stands on it's own. i want it to be 3 times as long at least. Also, anyone else think that this sort of control could work well on a touchscreen, like an Iphone or a droid?

The song, concept and sprite art deserve better game mechanics. It's a bit too simplistic and jump only works half the time, making this harder than necessary. 2.5/5 because i really want you to retry this, and the art is well done.

I love this game! Only a few little things: 1.All the changes you made are awesome! Make it so that i can see them in game though. I had to figure out how to dash, trying to press only E at first and being confused. Also, i did see that F for autofire is in the main menu help, but i think there should be a reminder on the upgrades screen, since a lot of people skip main menu help, assuming that the game can be learned through play. 2.You should be able to toggle which kinda of dash you like, either q/e,down/direction, or double tap. Because i kept accidentally dashing with doubletap simpy from the frenetic style of gameplay. I prefer q/e myself. But those are small complaints compared to how fun this is! And the fact it was made in 24 hours?! I'm planning on starting to make flash games (own cs4) and that is inspiring. I have all achievements but SPAAAAAAACE which i'm working on, i'll get it tonight. Then we can be a family again.
