Gah, the lag is killing me. It doesn't lag the enemy of course, who just keeps moving towards you. It just lags the ability to do anything, like reload, place a unit etc. So, you're hopelessly watching the enemy advance whilst your cursor sits there doing nothing.
Really nice looking and nice concept, but after the first boss it was unplayably-laggy. I had bloom and glow off and graphics down to "l". My computer isn't too slow either (mac air, 2 years old). Finished the game through sheer luck I think. Fix up the lag, and this game would get a 4 from me.
It's ok. There doesn't seem to be too much about this game that differentiates it from the many other top down race games out there at the moment. Nothing wrong with it per-se, but I'm a little bored of 'this game' before I even really start.
Dammit! I finished it the first time, but then the advertisement to buy the full game obscured the final text between Abraxas and Lia. So I finished it again.. same!! What is the final dialogue between the two??
I was really enjoying it up until lv 18. Now, for some reason.. it all just seems pointless. Repetitive. No reason to continue with it. Great game (at least to begin with), but I'm not hooked for some reason. Sorry.
That was a pretty cool game. I'm not usually interested in these sorts of games, but the pacing was good, art was beautiful and interesting, and the difficulty level was perfect for me :-) I dont understand the ending though... d'oh!!
Enjoyable game. Just a couple of suggestions for improvements. a) tidy up the story a little bit..it could be polished a little. I know what you were going for.. but... b) game AI should have to obey the same rules as us. So, having the enemy start with fully upgraded everything seems unfair and is frustrating. Have the enemy start off the same as us and have them progressively upgrade as we have to.
OMFG. I'm sorry, and please know that I dont usually have such a negative reaction to stories in these games.. but that was the most retarded, spastic, self-indulgent crap I have ever played (from a story point of view). It was trying to be deep, but touching on concepts that anyone over the age of 6 has already thought about and come to terms with. It's trying to be quirky, and yet emo at the same time. BIG TIME FAIL here in the story sorry to say. The gameplay was ok.
not sure if this is a bug or deliberate.. but on two levels there seem to have been two possible solutions. I solved it using one and all the numbers were greyed out (i triple-checked), but the level didn't finish. I had to reset.. and then I came up with a different picture that ended the level. Deliberate?
