The Almanac Abyss The Momo Edition V1.4 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The Abyss is a breeding grounds for hero and villan alike. the most common sighting known to the residence are the trolls. Yes, trolls. There are many types and many ways to deal with them, and this will be explained throughout the rest of this list. 1. Residence of The Abyss 2. Trolls: good and bad ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The residence are a somewhat peculiar group of new and old members who have had much time to understand the abyss's workings. 1. A - Residence ------------------------------------ Regulars - The people who are well known in the abyss and have been through many experiances. i.e. Poe, xxAchillesxx, Momoking57. Newcommers - There will always be newcommers in the abyss, although only 2/3 of them stay. They are known to engage the regulars in conversation, or even a small-scale rpg(for as little as it is allowed). Welcome them and soon they will be regulars. i.e. Firemonk. Travelers - Sometimes you will see somebody completly knew to you act at home in the Abyss. They are called travelers, or people who pass through the abyss, either friendly or agressive. It's ok to welcome them but do not expect to see them the next day. Fluff - No matter what chatroom you go to there will always be around 100 people who do not talk or interact. This group is reffered to as "Fluff" to fill the chatroom. Its uncommon but sometimes they will ask for help on a game or just say hi, but are usually silent. Abyss Mods - There are moderators in many lands, but the abyss has some pretty distict differences. You might notice a friendly and leniant policy at first, but do not push farther than you should. i.e. Invalid_user, Mr G. Badgies - Not usually a problem but sometimes can get pretty annoying. Badgies will get about 3-5 easy awards or just consecutive awards and spam them out all at once. They want to impress you but usually are shunned instead. Just ignore and they will leave. Exploder(common) - This is a member of a chatroom who will study the chatroom, then while nobody knows him, act as a casual regular but when reguarded as a troll, bursts out with explosive aggression. The best solution is to ignore. Exploder(rare) - Like the common exploder, it will study the chatroom but instead of trying to fit in, it will reveal secrets or personal information it has kept logged to use in order to make arguments. Though not a troll, devious just the same. React as you would a common exploder. Bugger - Buggers are not a very common sight, but are noticed from time to time. They will have a thought on their mind and for hours check back with the same question several times. Do not act aggressivly but if you tell them to stop or threaten them, they will usually leave. i.e. Bond57 Masks - Masks are members planted in a chatroom that have a few accounts but still act as a regular and are considered one. Usually funny or even "just kinda there", they befriend residence and troll alike. i.e. Saejibou Secrets - All chatrooms have these people who are in fact regs, but to an entirely different group. For example, say you and your group of regs is on from about 1 pm to 6 pm on average. There might be a 10 pm to 3 am group that uses the chatroom while the daily group is away and when you see them log onto your normal time, you think they are new! The amazing discovery is quite shocking but is indeed quite common. Seeker - You see them every day, and they always are not enjoyed. Seekers are the random people who come into your chatroom and start either making up a long, complex, FAKE story to get attention or just plain insult people. They never stay, so the best thing to do is just not get involved. Feeders - As their name suggests, these people look for trolls and feed them. Sometimes a normal residence will feed the trolls for a time, but these people will always have a bucket of retaliation waiting for them. Just mute as you would a troll. Ex. Shrub, Death1233 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Trolls are a somewhat crude race of members who plague the abyss. Many are the residence in disguise, but do not be fooled, for most are pure evil. Although they speak the ancient tongue of Spammish, a few of the newer breeds have picked up out native speech. 2.A Trolls ------------------------------------- Common Troll - Your everyday troll is usually a low level, and does not immediatly attack. They can try to be humorous, but act out just as much. Avoid if possible, and do not provoke if engaged. i.e. Wierdoctopus Spamtroll - A close reletive to the common troll, these trolls simply go into a peaceful chatroom then spam or nuke(if they know how to) without any reason or instigation. The best reaction is to mute, but if there is a few of em call a mod to stop the streak. The Biteroll - An agressive breed, The Biteroll will attack on sight. The best way to react is to ignore as soon as countered for best outcome. i.e. Wooness Trollkeeper - The trollkeeper is a sneaky one. They will pose as a traveler or a newcommer, then have a few "friends" come along. Everything will go great until he gives the cue, then takes off having his former "friends" cause havoc. There are certain signs to know if you see one. The first is they will appear out of nowhere but seem casual with their spawns. the second is a tension will build up between one of his spawns. Avoid if possible. The Comic Troll - A breed of troll that nests itself deep into the abyss and to many is known as a regular, but do not be fooled. They have little harmful intentions but are still trolls. Usually, they sit back and tell a few jokes for fun, but if you watch them closely they will slip up.
