oh wow, whoops, I actually do have a tutorial for it, I simply edited that out in the final version by accident. Whoops, I'll upload it as soon as I can, sorry for the confusion, but thanks for the feedback everybody!
I'd say good job on the sharp graphics, the animations are nice, the sounds are good. I would say make the ufo more reactive (in other words remove the drift time from it having to slow before reverse directions), add a storyline, levels (if you don't tell someone they are in level 1 then they don't know it). But nice job, making the speed of your bullets faster would fix the issue with shooting enemies without having to get shot, makes the game more action based and fun. Good job, I mean it, I know how hard it is to make something like this!
I hate to sound like a conspiracy theorist (I am I know), but I'd really like to have kongregate make the ratings system public to the developer (not names, but ip's or something which would tell you the ratings came from authentic independent users) so that competing websites with kongregate that want your game cannot open 20 accounts, ruin your rating then message and ask you to put your game on there site. The temptation to do that...would be overwhelming, and so easy in my opinion. Because if there is money in it, then guess what? Kongregate has got to protect it's indie developers or it won't have any, unless that is there goal for some reason. /rant & theory
5/5 man, very cool game. I'd add a fast forward anyway, if some people get lag they will just have to unfastforward it. Built in Unity too, good job! Great modeling, the jeep and other objects look great.
I don't think they are saying the controls are bad (as in keystroke) rather the point of origin for your turn is to the rear center of the car rather than the center / center. The keystroke is fine, but your ability to control the car is difficult. I would add a boost too, always make driving games more fun, neat concept!
Okay, I have a great suggestion that will work, if you made this document, for all us noobs out here, make a dummy game in Unity, enable the API feature and then everyone will know how to do it. I could spend a week messing with this and probably not get it right. This document is PERFECT...if you already know what you are doing. It doesn't help if you have never done this before, I would make it "for dummies" or you're not going to help nearly as many people.
Hey this is a cool game man, I like the concept of attack/hack and then you are building an army. You might want to add some tutorials so people don't just give up. Initially I thought only one of the guys on my screen was a friend and the rest are enemies. Good AI on the movement, also good AI by making the enemy move to an attacking force then engaging, might want to add that the player can lock onto the target so he doesn't walk away and attack another opponent when you are trying to focus fire. Neat game though, very cool!
