Being colorblind sucks, and the "light up" color shift when a section fits only confuses me more. I'd suggest holding the same colors and using particles or an animated effect to show a valid connection.

The overall concept (given the engine) is decent, but the level layouts are incredibly boring and require exploiting physics, not playing with them.

Not a bad concept, but I'd move the color guide near the action. That is, it annoyed me to have to look back and forth between the UI and the game. [note: I eventually memorized the layout and this problem didn't apply anymore]
