1. Damage specific body sections. If I shoot the zombies in the head it does the same amount of damage as if I had just shot them in the foot. While for some games this isn’t a big deal i feel in a game where you can’t move its an important detail that makes us the players be far more careful and calculated with our shots, so making the heads deal say 1.2 or 1.3 the damage of a body shot would be rather enjoyable.
2. Strategy around weapons. Numerous games, especially defense games such as these have geometric weapon tiers where the next weapon is always better than the last. While this isn’t necessarily negative i think that it adds depth to the game if weapons instead of being superior/inferior making them work well in different situations would be very interesting.
3. Enemy selection. Similar to weapons many defense games feature enemies that have geometrically larger health bars and same or slower speeds. Again variety being the spice of life I believe that offering a variety of enemies that might move quickly in zigzags or have other special affects would make the game far more interesting.
4. The upgrade screen. I really do love the game, I’ve favorited it but the upgrade screen is driving me insane. Many of the weapons feature the wrong prices for their upgrades, or the portraits and prices for them are swapped. Its total guess work as to what your buying and how much it costs. Clear accurate upgrade screens would go a long way to improving the experience of the game.
5. Story. This game is crying out to the world for a story, short comics between levels or minimal voice acting would both be of incredible value to the game as we could become more engaged with the characters and care about the outcome.
I just want to reiterate that I mean this as constructive criticism, the game is rather good and I hope you improve this one and continue making games. Thanks Playcow
sincerely
