Didn't see such amazing story and variety of choices since Starwish RPG shooter.. Amazing job! The only thing I didn't like is that true ending is fixed, I think you should have made variety of them. But at least it explains why it is the only possible ending. I never liked when games had puzzles taking half an hour to figure out, so I also enjoyed that the puzzles were small and simple :D That's my 2nd game I will favorite, and considering I played 3k+ flash games, that's quite an achievement :D

@HummaKavula: stage 2 is very unique level. After you lose your first battle against 2k+ units storywise you get something like special weapon(you can't tell that you have it, but you got it) and fight against all units that enemy started with becomes super easy. All the units that enemy got by recruiting are gonna be killable without any boost to your strength though.

Great game, much better than bullet heaven too. Story telling could get a tier higher, but that has already been told. I like the art style, but it could get some polishing too. More effects upon upgrading something is a must(like fire turning into green for instance). It feels too grindy when you upgrade something with no visual change and simply +% damage.

I'm flattered, but I don't know if I'd consider it better than Bullet Heaven. Compared to Matt, my artistic ability blows, and BH has way more polish and better sound effects. As for the upgrades, I agree about adding more visual changes. I'm not sure why I gave that treatment to some of the abilities, but not others. Oh well, a lesson learned for future projects. :D

I think research times either need to be lowered, or hourglasses should instead remove fixed %... Like galaxy 2 hourglasses instead of 5 seconds would be 5 sec OR 0.05%, whichever is higher.. then galaxy 3 = 10 sec or 0.1% and so on.. 5 days on 1 lvl of research is way too much... when you need like 20 high level researches to progress.. basically you are stuck for a few month even if you grind.

Game lacks description of towers before purchasing, has totally uncomfortable menus and battles in terms of both controls and getting to understand what happens on screen... 2/5 at best, not sure how this got to front page.

@StrategyFan: you realy think rating system works in kongregate.. you sure are naive... Even if all people press 1 star, game devs give some $$$(or a cut of profit) to kong staff and the rating goes to 3.5-4.5 in a few days :D Unless they add button to view each vote(and user who voted that much) for game, I won't believe in ratings.

Defeating boss 3 seems impossible for me... any hints? All other challenges are at least done in a few attempts.. even last boss no damage recieved is not that hard.

@Gorkanus: it's only getting harder... and with equipment nerf, the only option you have is to join a good league for stats. Good league will pull you out with stats until lvl 50 or so with average equip.. Just enchant main things like weapon/sub weap/main armor to +3 or something and it will be enough with league.

I think gunslinger girl needs to be improved, she is pretty weak char right now :( I loved the gun man the most, he is realy strong with his 2 turn recharge of 250% damage... and when you hit 100% with that, that's just crazy :) And his passive is realy something, huge damage decrease on you and good regen ^^ After him goes the werewolf, realy good girl for having crazy vampiric ability :)

Just a few tips: Make your pet kind, he will sometimes bring awesome +3/5 all stat items Accuracy = INTELLIGENCE(don't ask me why, I don't know, but that is so), never forget about intelligence.. Agility = dodge and a little speed up to bar filling... Most useless stat, since you dodge all cept poison most of the time anyway. Best pet: Fire dragon one.. Reach level 5(fire ball if you went full power kills most enemies in 1 hit or maximum 2), always buy +2 power food massively and use it all up, also it's a good idea to get some intelligence(probably the +3/5 all stat foods from pet finds will be alright), I got my intelligence to 40+ and I have around 50% chance to hit, which is fine for me :)
