It isn't too hard to beat legitimately. The only thing you need to buy is the artillery upgrade to bomb the big dudes. Any other money can go to repair the ship. Should be beatable by day 11 easily then. to complete the game in one day on the upgrade menu keep pressing tab until you get to the repair ship button. then press enter until it repairs completely you will go into minus money!
