Hidden gem. Handy skip, nice slo-mo, challenging yet not frustrating, good length, original puzzles, smooth play, a laugh at the end. Games like this make me wonder how much more I am missing.
How is it that no one has mentioned how difficult this game is? Towards the end you need to excellent hand eye coordination, good reading of the radar, the correct formula for upgrades (100,100, 30, 20, 100) and even after that kind of perfection you can still lose over and over when there is nothing on the board. No matter how good you are, if there is nothing to grab on to and you waste your booster pack and still there is nothing, you drop like a stone. This randomness makes this game far too difficult. Start again from the beginning.
Seriously, I wish highschools across America would implement the use of games like this into the classroom. I doubt the students would complain, and they would learn more from this then a hundred lectures on geography by some burnout minimum wage teacher.
A throwback to the mercantile adventure games like drug wars and gazillionaire. It was too easy for how time consuming it was. But the genre is a great one and it was overall an enjoyable experience 4/5.
@ CapAp: You don't like missing? Then use cornelius's voidstream, andromeda has 2 100% attacks, ashi has a 100% attack and put an origami crane on any martial artist and you're set. Plus many many more, no one is force feeding you popo.
It was down to my Amaya and their Andromeda. I had 5 shadow curses on her + there was 1 ring of curse leftover on her. Andro gets far and crits me for 60 dmg killing my full health Amaya! I wonder how's that possible...110% reduced but then I did some math and thought I would share with you what that % chance turns out to be. 100% - 80 - 64 - 51.2 - 40.96 - 36% ... and then 25% crit of that is 9% chance...which is basically Vanessa missing her double slash. Not that unlikely in other words.
Twinge I have another q for you. Higashi vs. Yoshiro, they're the only two chars left, assuming logical move selection, taking into account procs and dodge and all that. Who wins most out of 100 games?
/rant. I HATE THESE FKING KILL THE CUTE ANIMAL GAMES. It's to the point i don't care if it has great mechanics because it so so damn CLICHE...stop giving these things cards and awards. how about a little ORIGINALITY??

charming. nice change of pace. i like games like this and majesty of colors once in a while. the cube order matching the christmas lights kept me sitting for about ten mins. play this game if you're chilled out otherwise it might be boring.
