The game was waaaaaaaaayyyyy to easy even on normal mode. The only hard mission was the one with all the dragon laguz. My favorite caracter is Sothe.
I played T3, but I stopped due to the lack of online multiplayer in the PS2 version. I could already beat the AI easily, so there was no reason to explore the game mechanics further.
I moved to GGPO, a fighting game client that literally has the best networking code in the world: http://ggpo.net/blog/online/

By the way, T3’s controls are intended to give more emphasis on movement and less on interesting guessing games. I too preferred the simplistic T2 controls.
