About the turning off idle thing...
Maybe make it a confirmation thing? Click it, and a window comes up with "Are you sure? Doing this will disable the automatic puzzle solving until re-enabled." And to avoid future annoyance with it, have a checkbox saying now to show the window again. Then, be able to re-enable it the same way.
So, this is a simple suggestion. I want the ability to tell the idle feature on and off. Other games, it'd be fine. But, when you have this sort of puzzle, and you're trying to upgrade things and set up massive combos to score a lot of stuff in one go, it'd be nice for the game to not mess it up by plucking random stuff. And, when you're gonna leave it on, turn it on and let it go. Just, the ability to turn idle on and off.
Mm'kay. So, that thing when you try to put colour where it doesn't go? That pisses me off to no end. I'd rather find out my mistake, or not be punished because I had the wrong thing selected by accident.
Nerdook, loving your games. I've played almost all of your games released, and the consistent art style is actually very nice.
You keep the same look, but each game is dynamically different from each other. It's really well-done, and I hope you keep it up :3
'A Red Candle, I might be able to use this for the Pentagram in the attic...' I haven't even been IN the attic... obviously, this character is psychic. Why doesn't he just tell the ghosts he's in the wrong house, and would like to leaves.
Bugs. The Lag Bug. THAT is why games like these need to be used in a better program, instead of Flash. You try to put in commands, then it over-loads, yet you are playing the game like you play every other intense shooting game. Ugh.
Priestess ain't got the power to heal her team!
In other words, I find the healing inadequate to make it through without getting a character killed. The first enemies do four damage, and she heals 3. When you throw TWO enemies in there, you're screwed. Not sure if it is because I haven't played the previous games or what, but look at that.
O_O Freaking Heavy Pikemen is WAY OVER POWAHED! Was playing Chapter 12, I think, where you have to destroy those skeletons with the Fortress. Everyone but the Heavy Pikemen died and the Pikemen finished with only 13 health xD
