I can't see how it is too hard. Just passed 2.2 and 2.3 and they were really easy. Just build up defenses/turrets and start resource production. When you can defend, only then start with starships.
I know that this comment won't be the most popular out there... but here goes anyway:
If out of 15 million plays who played the first part only 1 million players who enjoyed the game most gave only 1 kred to developer - that would be enough to fund the sequel completely and in that case I can bet that djstatika would have all content on kongregate unlocked.
Just a thought...
Different weapon have different critical chance. 99% bonus on critical is applied to that crit chance. E.g. if weapon has base crit chance 10% with 100% bonus its 20%.
