Your upgraded weapons are automatically equipped when you buy them. To select the weapons during combat, click on their icon or use 1-8 on your keyboard to switch weapons, and zxcv to switch secondary weapons. :)
Version 3 will be in development in the near future, and should include all the really useful things like saving.
Most of the characters you see in the samples were posted on deviantArt, or emailed to me.
There's no save feature, I realize. I'm using an old version of Flash with Actionscript 1.0, and if anyone knows how to do it, I'd be obliged!
As for the lack of music, this is more of a tool than a game. :)
