Dear Game developers, please stop implementing non-banked elevators unless you are also implementing AI smart enough to handle multiple elevators efficiently, which is at least an order of magnitude harder... so really just do elevator banks if elevator building is an important part of your game. PS. badges are broken.
let me restate joppelarius's problem with these games getting badges. Single player games get badges when the community decides that they are good and by and large single player games with badges are fun. The MMOs on the other hand pay for badges and are generally crap, while there are a few really good multi-player games on kong (transformice comes to mind) they are not the ones that get achievements. If they were, no one here would have a problem with it.
How i got the hard badge (building on ragnarr's post):
word set 1 (verbatim) -- flying, preflight
word set 2 (word + plural) -- flight, fly + by, boy, over, paper
word set 3 (word + -ing, -er, -ers, -ed, -s) follow, flower, finger
get as much out of the boiler except f, l, and y
write down the words from the above lists in order. on each level use words like fig, fog, falafel, fly, yule to open up 5 boilers as fast as possible... don't use words from the main list or you will end up with repeats.
once you have 4 or 5 boilers open crank through your list of words as quickly as possible... don't even bother looking at the letters that you have up and don't worry about repeats because there are more than 20 words in the list (as long as you are using all valid variations).
HTH
On reflection I want to amplify what I said previously... The prices for this game are so mind-numbingly insane that I can't come up with any explanation other than that the developers are trying to scam children that have access to their parents credit cards. I don't have a problem with P2P but these kinds of scams do not belong on Kongregate.
I'm on mission 23 and unless my math is off the developers are asking for around $0.60 per minute ($36 per hour) to keep playing once your energy is depleted and based on how energy cost per mission scales these numbers are only gong to get more insane. This is at least an order of magnitude more than any reasonable person would pay to play a flash game.
not a game and I see no point in giving some random dude on the internet $250+ for noticing that Kong has 40,000 games when that money could instead be going to the devs who make this site great.
