It's that time of year where we all spend lots of time buying things. Now Kongregate and Swords & Potions are helping you create things for your friends, and do some good, too!

For the next three weeks (until Dec. 31, 2011), Swords & Potions is offering you the chance to make gifts along with goods. You can give these gifts to your friends and guildmates, or you can choose to donate them.

And that's where Kongregate comes in! Each week we'll be donating money to Child's Play based upon how many gifts you give.

• If 150,000 gifts are given by the end of any week, we'll give $1,000 for that week.
• If 300,000 gifts are given by the end of any week, we'll give a total of $2,500 for that week.
• If 300,000 gifts are given for all three weeks, we'll donate an additional $2,500 on top of our other donations, for a potential total of $10,000!

Child's Play works in two ways. With the help of hospital staff, Child's Play sets up gift wish lists full of video games, toys, books, and other fun stuff for kids.
