The other game mentioned is "aliens kidnapped betty", which was published 8 months before this game.

I really like it. It is simple yet challenging, and you change it up enough to make every level unique; it doesn't feel repetitive. It requires real-time action skills as well as puzzle problem solving skills. It is an excellent blend of genres, and probably the first great competitor for this month's game making challenge. I give it a 5/5.

There seems to be a problem with jumping directly after a previous jump because I'll land on a single square and I'll click and it won't let me jump

I have played these levels, I mean exactly the same layout. But another game, not long ago. Was with a robot iirc. But I cannot say which one is the original.
