Upgrades felt slightly underwhelming. Wish there was a way to get some money back for weapons/armor purchased. New Game+ didn't seem that different from the first playthrough. Overall the game seems a bit short. "isles" implies there's more than one main level. I would love to see this game expanded with more content.

That said this game was a lot of fun. Smooth, decently balanced gameplay. Only bug I found was a gold coin stuck in a lake (only happened once).

As others have said, the weapon/armor upgrades are so weak except for the top one that it's just not worth upgrading incrementally. If you could sell back the previous item at a 20% discount or something (which you could hint by presenting a trade-in value for your starting equipment) then the incremental upgrade path would seem less stupid.

And as someone else said, it's weird that bullets go through the landscape items, especially when you get to the dog-creatures that appear to be supposed to be an 'advanced' enemy, but they're trivially easy because you can just stand behind a piece of landscape and stab them through it, their charge attacks are rendered useless. Makes for a very weird progression. Also the medium green slimes being more dangerous than two of the bosses!

Also, after finishing the game twice, might want to add some kind of bonus of some form, as just increasing difficulty (by way of adding more enemies per zone) just doesn't really cut it that much. It's basically forcing people to just progress to a harder level without the ability to backtrack and level themselves to maximum to enjoy the fruits of their growth.

Nice Game, just a few feedback - 1. The stone golem can bug out if it charges out of one of the exits to the room next door. 2. The boss fights become trivialized by exploiting the exits(can easily dodge, or just wait for spear cooldown), maybe make the room locked or restore boss HP if player leaves the room? 3. It's far better to just save up the gold to buy the best weapon/armor than buy any of the ones before, making them less desirable.

Thanks for the suggestions! I'll definitely fix #2 in the next update and I'll see what I can do for #1 and #3 after that.

I like it. Although my biggest issue is how the crosshairs are too opaque and has a tendency to block anything behind it (bullets and enemies included). If it's slightly transparent, it should be much easier on the eyes.

Good suggestion, added a cursor transparency slider in the options menu
