Beschreibung
Quest of Adventures ist ein kurzes ARPG, das ich für einen Online-Kurs erstellt habe. Ich habe versucht, das Gefühl eines klassischen JRPGs nachzuahmen, bei dem du mit der Umgebung interagieren musst, um herauszufinden, wohin du gehen und was du tun sollst. Dieses Spiel entstand im Rahmen einer Coursera-Spezialisierung für Game Design und Entwicklung. Mit Musik von Matthew Pablo. http://www.matthewpablo.com
Spielanleitung
Bewege dich mit WASD oder den Pfeiltasten. Rennen mit linker Shift-Taste. Interagieren mit linker Strg oder „E“. Angriff mit Leertaste. Pause mit Esc.
Entwickler-Updates
turns out a few bugs i thought i had fixed, werent actually fixed!
it should be all working now :D
also if you start talking to an npc while moving, you will now stop moving

need to resize border and add a mute sound option
Mute options for the SFX and Background Music have been implemented border has been resized, The changes are now live! Thank you for the feedback!

Short but cute, with a bit of humor. I enjoyed it and would play more if you make more... though, and this may just be me, I find it really uncomfortable to have to press the control key that much while using WASD movement. I'd recommend either changing the interaction key to something in that same area, like E; or else assigning a key to advance the conversations instead of the mouse, so the other hand can use the arrow keys.
Ive sorted it, and the changes are live now, thanks for your feedback! E is now usable to interact and go through dialogue!

Congratulations on releasing your game! Hope to see it grow further from here & good luck :)
A couple things:
- Picking up herb in the cave, speech bubble wouldn't go away until I talked to someone.
- Holding movement keys & pressing the interact button next to someone to start a chat can make you locked in motion as long as you're still pressing a direction. I had a similar problem in my game and my solution was when some event like in a dialogue in your case started, I would set the player velocity to 0 in addition to preventing them from moving.
- Not sure if this is intentional, but I noticed my XP would only increase with every second monster I defeated. So that every other monster doesn't give any experience basically.
- I lost the game at the boss fight (yes, I couldn't beat him :\ ), but unfortunately the total XP didn't show up. It only said "XP: ".
- Also, the 'Restart Game' button on the lose screen didn't work.
I fixed all the bugs now! thanks a bunch :D
