Beschreibung
Reise durch das Spiele-Reich und vernichte deine Feinde mit meisterhaft animierten Kills! Du bist Edwin. Ein ganz normaler Junge mit einem normalen Leben. Eines Tages spielst du mit deiner Freundin Videospiele und alles ist gut. Gerade bist du dabei, dein Lieblingsspiel aller Zeiten, "The Legend of Hooligan", zu besiegen, als plötzlich Lord Gorn (der Hexenmeister im Spiel) in die reale Welt greift und deine Freundin entführt!
In Panik schlägst du wild um dich und verfehlst, was Lord Gorn die perfekte Gelegenheit gibt, dir eins zu verpassen. Ehe du dich versiehst, liegst du bewusstlos auf dem Boden deines Zimmers. [ENDE DER SPIEL-HINTERGRUNDGESCHICHTE]
Tada! Hier kommt: Elf Story! Eine epische (wenn auch kurze) Reise ins Spiele-Reich, stark inspiriert von der Zelda-Reihe. Elf Story ist ein Point-and-Click-Adventure mit viel Kunst und Animation. Ein sehr einfaches Spiel, das fast jedem gefallen dürfte. Du schlüpfst in die Rolle von Edwin, der später zu Elfmin wird, und begibst dich auf eine 10-Szenen-Quest, um deine Freundin zu finden und dich gegen fiese Gegner zu behaupten. Genieße die wunderschön animierten Kills und Todesszenen, während du durch die detailreichen Hintergründe und Szenen reist.

any reason why it's utterly impossible to duck when facing the guy you see after the shop before the gate? i have died over twenty times......really really REALLY sux. nice looking and cool idea otherwise. gave it a 4 star rating but ready to give it a big fat zero for that part =P

You're supposed to click on the actual dagger that he throws at you in order to deflect it :)

Really one of the better point and click adventures I've played in a while. Art, animation and presentation are superb. I rather like the focus on action with quick reflex puzzles in the fight scenes. Also, the inability to move backwards to previous areas turned out to be a plus for me. Hunting for objects, backtracking and long drawn out puzzles was never my cup of tea. And of course, finally, I loved the wicked violence =) Totally in step with the off-kilter story style for a fairy tale. Well done.
Thanks Ajax. Glad you enjoyed the game! Some people complained that you couldn't go backwards, which I understand, but it's interesting that you actually didn't mind it or actually, liked it. Hopefully I can get this game to the front page and make some badges for it... I've got 44 unique badges planned out! ..hopefully I'll get to make them all.
