Beschreibung

In Infinite Cosmos you are the newly appointed Planetary Development Director for the United Federation! Your assignment is constructing new habitats on extraterrestrial planets for the betterment of humanity. In this role you’re in charge of building and improving unique sectors of the habitats as well as managing off-world research departments dedicated to advancing humankind’s prosperity in the universe!

Spielanleitung

Upgrade your planet's sectors, install extensions, and perform system updates to advance humankind faster and further than ever before!

You mostly do this via the bottom button on each sector. The upgrade multiplier button just to the right of the wealth bar at the top of the screen allows you to make improvements to each sector in bulk.

The number on the specialist map panel indicates your current recruits. Request a planetary reassignment to convert them into specialists. Specialists always give an inherent output bonus, but can also be assigned to nodes in the specialist map, increasing your performance even further!

The statistics panel can be a helpful tool in determining what sectors you might be interested in improving next. The bar chart is a normalized representation of the output per second of each sector. The smallest being the lowest per second, the largest being the highest per second, and all the other proportionately in between.

Clicking the cog icon in the upper-left corner will open the settings menu. Here you can view save information or manage your settings.

Potentially useful keyboard shortcuts:
M - Cycle through the upgrade multiplier options
E - Toggle the 'Buy Exact' setting
I - Toggle the 'Inclusive Auto-Installer' setting
Esc - Close open windows

Good luck, have fun, and thank you for playing!

Entwickler-Updates

Mar 7, 2021 11:15am

This patch focuses on fixing bugs. Additionally it comes with an improvement to the way galaxy effects are viewed and compared.

  • Galaxy effects are now displayed using a menu system instead of a huge cumbersome list. There are three categories which you can click to view. The Sector category effects can be clicked to view the value of that effect for each individual Sector. The effects show the actual value, but categories display an Effect Rating which weighs each of its contained effects to better represent them as a combined single value. For discovered galaxies, the smaller text indicates the difference between the selected galaxy and your current galaxy. This should help compare galaxies more effectively.
  • Fixed GOPHER specialist nodes so their effect values are immediately updated when the Auto-Expander is used
  • Fixed an issue where time remaining text on Sectors would sometimes erroneously vanish (such as when Breakthroughs temporarily speed it up)
  • Fixed an issue which caused the GOPHER Cosmium cap to not reset along with the daily reset
  • Addressed an issue which caused Sector progress to be far too long on game load
  • Reloading the game while in the middle of a Planetary Reassignment will no longer confirm the reassignment; you will be presented with the Planetary Reassignment screen again
  • Fixed a rounding discrepancy between the displayed salvage value of an Augment and the salvage confirmation dialog
  • Fixed an issue with the next Edifact reward value displayed on GOPHER specialist node tooltips sometimes showing a negative value
  • Fixed a bug which occasionally caused Sector optimization bars to not update their appearance after a reassignment
  • Fixed an issue which occasionally caused specialist node orbit labels to not update their appearance after a reassignment
  • Addressed various visual bugs with Galaxy Management
  • Added the ability to view previous patch notes in-game
  • Added a button the Settings window to open the Patch Notes

Is there a reason to send GOPHERS on specialist missions? It doesn't seem like there is much of any reward for it.

The max all specialists is great. Can we get a max all sectors now. It would make the game much better late game.

I really like the game but my CPU and GPU usage is very high when I have the tab in front. (Chrome and Firefox) Is there any optimization planned?

Absolutely! In fact, that is actually part of what we are working on right now. The performance is not where we want it to be, and there is plenty of room for improvement.

What does "boost intensity" do? And what are "boosts"?

Good news! We now have a Help window to answer any of your questions. You can locate it in the top-right corner of the game.

Would you use standard x1000 notation? 36000K is a really weird way of expressing 36M

Displaying numbers that way allows for greater precision without involving decimal points. If people are interested we can totally add a number formatting option which displays numbers with 3 numbers and a decimal point (as needed) along with standard notation. e.g. 1234K = 1.23M
