Cast off your mortal shell and conquer the Elemental planes as the first of the Ascendant sorcerers!
PlanesWar is my first game ever. It was built in 4 weeks on a 30-day Flash trial. I hope you enjoy it!
Spielanleitung
Choose a plane & level to attack. Place troops on the Staging grid. In combat, keep the enemy units from getting to the left side of the screen. Hold down the Space bar during combat to bring up the spell-casting template. Access the Spellbook during combat from the Menu (M in the upper left corner).

An enjoyable little tactical game. There was something mildly broken about the rune-drawing portion; it lagged progressively as I played through the game and eventually froze my browser. Fortunately, the game saved my progress up to the start of the battle and I could resume and finish the game.

I highly recommend the in-game help. It's not that complex of a game, but it does introduce some new concepts. As far as sounds go, they ended up low enough priority that they didn't make it into the 4-week window. It's definitely on my list for later improvements!

it's simple enough to understand if you actually read all the instructions and go through the practice casting. Could use some sound effects though, unless I accidentally disabled them lol
