Kicking me out and making me start over after every error is a sure fire way to get a -1 rating. Discovery is about trying things and making errors, and coming to a solution.

Uhmm... try again, only make it either a) more entertaining, b) more playable - like adding an autofocus to the input box when you need to use the keyboard + make the friggin return key work instead of having to click ok, c) clever instead of obtuse, d) all of the above.

Currently I am not enticed to try again...

First screen, nothing but a 1). Then, after reading the comment, I can barely see the outline of a "3 clicks" and a down arrow. Not that I know if I am even in a puzzle game, a platformer or an RPG. I guess it's a puzzle game but lack of introduction shouldn't lead to that conclusion... Plus, no keyboard interaction seems to work (despite being instructed to use the keyboard to enter the code)

Already stuck on 8+9, and already annoyed that I have to start over at the beginning every time. Is there a reason for that too?

I don't see any reason to play a game where 8+9 is not 17 without a reason.
