Wow, the difficulty sure spikes up insanely at precisely 40 kills. Also, it's less character 'unlocks' and more character 'unlock'. ...One that looks almost identical ingame.

Thanks for the comment Banjooie. The difficulty actually increases with every kill, 40 is probably where you start to get overwhelmed. The character unlock was just added to give something to aim for. I was planning on adding a second level, achievements, powerups and a shop but to be honest it would have taken too long to add just to be told the game was boring anyway. I'll start work on adding things once i've released my second game. Have fun!
