Those paddles dependent on text repeat delay? Sometimes the paddle will move one space and pause before finally moving.

A good starting out game to make. That doesn't mean it's very good. Its Pong which has been done millions of times.

@dman490 Thanks for the comment and yes I know its overdone but I just wanted to do something to help me learn the basics of as3 and such

@OsumMan I think 5-10 would add better control. It could just be a matter of preferences though. Also if the ball hits the end and the paddle and its not moving, should it still angle? I'd say yes, but that may be my own prejudice. If you want, mess with those variables a little and see how it feels. it may turn out that your way was more fun to play.

@ZeroCreativity1 I actually have it the enemy paddle only moves if the ball is 25 pixels away from the center of the paddle and also it is in the angling code that if your/their paddle is moving left then the game will add 0-5 to the balls angle, maybe i should make it more like 5-10? idk.
