This game runs on Adobe Flash. Effective Jan. 2021, Adobe began blocking its flash player's use everywhere. Kongregate is now partnering with Ruffle to make some of our Flash content playable again. Please note: If you are using Ruffle, badges will not work normally. Samurai Rebellion is a fast-paced, battle-oriented strategy game set in medieval Japan around the year 1600, featuring 37 levels, 7 unit types, and a unique art style, based on ancient Japanese Ukiyo-e printing.

Very easy & intuitive mouse controls.
Hot-Keys:
Shift+Number -> select lane
Ctrl+Number -> launch ability/buff
Number -> place unit

If provinces give upgrades, just have a list of Province = Upgrade. Simples. Lets you plan your strategy in advance, too.

Hmm. My samurai seem confused by archers; they just stand there and take arrows to the face. And about one-in-five of my spearmen walk backwards. Is anyone else having these problems?
