Master of Fortresses is a fortress defence game inspired by classic tower defence games and castle defence games like Rampart. Taking command of a european fortress in the age of black powder warfare as one of three factions (Britian, Prussia or France), the player must earn funds by weathering successive onslaughts of attackers and use this money to repair and expand his fortress. Strategic placement of walls and bastions are key, as is the timing and use of traps like the Trou-de-Loup or the exploding siege mine.

DID YOU EXPERIENCE A BUG? READ THIS:
UPDATE 1 INFO REMOVED DUE TO NEWS CHARACTER LIMIT
UPDATE 2: Okay – I’ve added some extra checks that should help to avoid some of the bugs. In addition to that, I’ve added a “Fail Safe” button. If the game bugs out, or you have one troop hitting you out of range, or enemies stuck, click the CALENDAR beside the WAVE COUNTER. That button will cause the enemies to all find a new path, and should fix those errors if they occur during your game!
UPDATE 3: Fixed time achievements that were not being awarded properly. Fixed a reported typo on grenadier achievement. Fixed “Logistics Genius” achievement, it was not giving players double starting cash. Fixed the bug that allowed you to upgrade to a Grand Cannon without unlocking it. I will continue to update the game based on feedback!

UPDATE 5: Statistics are now in! Hopefully we will get badges for the game! I’ve added statistics for highest endless wave completed, and campaign honours earned. I’ve also fixed some bugs in endless mode, and made it harder with enemies getting exponentially higher HP and damage! Good luck :)

You should add a counter to all the achievements so we know the progression of them. So for instance with building 100 cannons while playing as the French there should be a X/100 progress counter next to it. That way we can have an idea of how close or far we are away from getting the achievements. Anyone agree?

did anyone else notice that its mor expensive to upgrade a palisade to an earthworks then to just buy an earthworks? IT COSTS 110 TO UPGRADE and even without selling the palisade it only costs 100 to buy an earthworks

Maybe change the "HOLD SPEED" button to a "TOGGLE SPEED" button?

I wish there was a way to make the cannons hold fire. 'Don't fire until you see the whites of their eyes' kind of thing. I wish I could wait until there was a nice line of soldiers in range, then let the cannons fire. Since they take so very, very long between shots, I want to make the most of them.
