there was one thing i didnt like and that was, that i needed to wait long until i could click on the second card
i think different lvl with different animals would make it interesting
maybe you could give it themes like savanna, the woods, jungle, ocean like that (ok give sounds to fish may be a little difficult^^")
as an extra lvl maybe the picture and the name of the animal is also thinkable
i dont know anything about gameprogramming so i dont know how difficult it would be to take something like that in action - so im sorry if it is to far away^^
but i think this has great potential and is a good start
thank you very much for your feedback, I added the delay to let you hear the animal sound before you can do another action, because if the cards are matched you will hear sound again, without delay the sounds will overlap, for the other ideas like themes and words those are really intersting, it won't be difficult to add them, I made the game easy to be customized where you can just change the sounds an pictures very easliy, one more idea you can do is to add your family picturs and sounds, or words like mama, papa, granpa and let the child matches
