This game runs on Adobe Flash. Effective Jan. 2021, Adobe began blocking its flash player's use everywhere. Kongregate is now partnering with Ruffle to make some of our Flash content playable again. Please note: If you are using Ruffle, badges will not work normally. "The Best Years of my Life" is a game for two players, seated at one keyboard. Made in 48 hours for Mini LD #10.
Playing alone isn't recommended; the game won't make much sense if you do.
Spielanleitung
Game is controlled with the keyboard.
Player one controls with the arrow keys, player two controls with the WASD keys.

Actually it's not necessarily the husband that's the jerk. It seems like a cooperative game, but it is actually competitive. Whoever pulls the most weight in the beginning gets to be in charge at the end.

Most people aren't understanding the game, thinking outside the box. The concept maybe blurred as some ones say but in my opinion this is what marriage is, you give the best time of your life to be with someone you love, then you get kids, teach them to pass on the love and eventually you will die together.
