Flash End-of-Life, Ruffle Integration!
This game runs on Adobe Flash. Effective Jan. 2021, Adobe began blocking its flash player's use everywhere. Kongregate is now partnering with Ruffle to make some of our Flash content playable again. Please note: If you are using Ruffle, badges will not work normally. In order to earn a badge in a Flash game, you will need to complete the badge, then submit a screenshot (showing both proof of completion and your username) as a missing badge report using the report missing achievement option. Complex 1v1 RPG. 96 classes, 210 passive skills, generated items, and the most badass enemy you've ever tried to kill!
(Kong Exclusive!)
Spielanleitung
You are trying to kill a spider!
But it's no simple task!!!
Here are a few tips to get started:
-This game is permadeath, but you gain 'Star Power' and 'Gold Power' based on your highest stage reached, item rarity, best hero level, and more ( These make each run start with more skills and gold )
-Use stars to enhance your character's skills, and unlock new skills using gold on tomes in the shop!
-Tomes and Items are bought in random draft assortments from which you may select only 1!
-Items can be equipped, sold, or destroyed only during the respawn time of the spider!
-Items are activated (not passive) and have limited # of uses each stage!
-There's a tips/tricks thread in forum!

Can another chatroom be made for this game now that there are a significant amount of people playing it? That'd be great. Or at least agree on a chatroom we can all go to if the former can't be done.

It does feel harder, yeah. Haven't played in a long time, but I remember getting really far in the challenges. I don't remember it taking this long to get to even the first challenge.

what's the most terrifying, the magic powers of this spider, or the fact that it has only 6 legs...

I think the greatest frustration I have is not knowing what the spider stats are. I will be doing fine, then suddenly I lose, and I dont know why. I think this is a great game, but a visible progression of the spider would allow me to make better choices and not lose without warning. The sudden death can be "fun" because of permadeth and rougelight elements, but not knowing why I lose leaves a bad taste in my mouth and weakens the "1 more game" effect. A simple stat screen to reference would go a long way toward compelling me to keep playing.
