Fixed some stuff that bugged me a while ago. Just got CS6 today, and have been in programming logic for a while. Granted, its taught me nothing, and I forget most of the stuff, but whatever. The game is now beatable by casual players. Before, it was ungodly, even to the bastard that had to test it from start to finish hundreds of times. I fixed some bugs, and spawnrates and whatnot, I might go over the enemy profiles completely.

I thought this game was really good considering it was your first attempt. I see this was said already but I did feel like something to indicate my progress would be very helpful. Maybe a shop and different levels would really help push this game to the next level but like I said good job so far.

Two other things you may want to look into, that I didn't mention before: A counter that tells you how many more point you need for the boss to appear would make a more defined goal for the player. Otherwise it just looks like the same thing will continue indefinitely. Secondly, you may want to consider adding a moment of invincibility after getting hit, so that the player doesn't go from 5 lives to 1 life when a pile of enemies bumps them.

Hey, I liked this! Suggestions: add different levels (maybe with obstacles), some simple sound effects and BG music, more enemies (with challenging move patterns) and a tutorial or help guide right at the intro. Also, upgrades would be nice, and when you get to implement them, separate score from cash so we won't lose any points buying them. Possible upgrades: good ol' kill-them-all bombs, power-up spawn rate, movement speed, coin magnet and extra lives. Last thing: after we finally kill the Boss, we should be awarded a secret new character or something fancy. Good luck with your learning and congrats on your efforts so far!

Should add a little timer for the powerups and maybe have a small tutorial.
