To destroy the boss, first destroy the wing cannons, then the head.

A couple of lives or an HP bar would be good. Instant death is a bit frustrating! It looks good though. :)

nice graphics, smooth gameplay. Full mouse movement control would be much appreciated. And of course some classic boosts (armor, weapon fire rate, health etc)
