Also a suggestion, an upgrade that improves the zombie AI so they target different civilians instead of all going towards the same one

Hey ! Thank you for the suggestion. we already implemented that suggestion. Currently zombies will run towards nearest civilian. Now, we added two options. 1. Run towards nearest Civilian 2. Run Towards Different Civilians. reason why still having Run towards nearest Civilians is to earn some cash in beginning before zombies die. Update should live today.

it's really annoying that the zombies just keep chasing a target, hovering a couple pixels away from it, without killing it...

it's not idle game if you need to click every time new round beggins

Ok, currently there's a bit of a bug where the zombies seem to slow down if they're following behind a civilian in a straight line. I GUESS it's because they're only trying to reach the edge of a civilian instead of really trying to catch up to them so they don't go at full speed when they're close?
