Beschreibung

Spielanleitung

Nach links bewegen - A. Nach rechts bewegen - D. Springen - Leertaste.

Entwickler-Updates

The user progress is now stored. Each completed level unlocks the next. The little enemy boxes now have an implemented lunge action so they no longer stay in one place. Their size has also been decreased in order to make them easier to dodge. Slight level modifications. Next to come should be the volume and gamma controls.

Having the jump key be two keys makes jumping really hard, since you need to also hit other keys to get the cube to move you're hitting at least three keys at the same time and with the fingers spread apart to hit both S+Space at the same time, it's difficult to control the cube accurately, at least for me. I'd be OK if it was just one jump key, preferably Space or W since that would be a bit easier for me to hit than S+Space together.

Hi dementomstie, First of all, big thanks for being one of the first to take the time to view the game and comment with honest opinions. I have now changed the jumping controls as suggested by yourself and other members. I have also added more lighting, changed the camera (it now angles sideways as it's location shifts left to right), added an explosion like effect on collision with the yellow cubes. I would very much appreciate it if you could take another look and see how those changes feel. Regards, Dan

I also had the same problems as @Angried. You don't start with any momentum, so when you first hit A or D all it does is move the camera until you hit Space to get some movement started, and then if you forget to hit A or D you still don't go anywhere.

@dementomstie and @RevCardboardBox Thank you for your valuable feedback, those changes will take place in the next couple of hours and i hope to improve that first, the tutorial level quite a bit as well to include instructions. So there should be a new version posted today where the jumping just uses one key (e.g. Space). I very much appreciate the time taken to view, play, and comment on the game so that i can improve it and intend on applying all the suggested changes made in the comment session as long as i have the time.

The jumping problem has now been resolved. I have also started adding the tutorial instructions, and am currently working on programming enemies and designing the subsequent levels. I have also removed models from the main menu which i am not yet using as it gives players false impression of what awaits inside the game, at this moment in time. Thank you for the useful feedback. :)

Thanks for reading our comments and improving the game, but it is nearly impossible to see anything on this game. I even tried to put the game in "Cinematic Mode", but it didn't help much. If the cube was easier to see it would be much easier to play. As it is the controls are still really sticky and it's really hard to maneuver, but I get that that is part of the design of the game and I don't mind it too much actually.

Thank you, i believe i have fixed these issues, but i am having problems with my licence for the development tools which i am trying to sort out. As soon as i can sort that out, i will be able to, and will be posting the newest copy of the game. Everyone's feedback has helped a lot in improving the game so that i can get a higher mark in my module, and so that i can deliver a playable game that Kongregate members can enjoy. Therefore, thank you. :)

The inexplicable use of two keys for jumping, combined with the poorly lit levels, makes what could be a decent platformer merely frustrating.

Hi there, I have just set the jumping to use only the Space bar, and have added more lighting. Is the amount of lighting added sufficient, or do i need to add some more. Thanks for the time taken to play and comment on the game. P.S. Just trying to find a good balance as i do not want the levels to be too bright, at the same time i do not want them to be impossible to use. I am also hoping to have a brightness slider soon which should resolve this issue.
